Meet Our Trainers
Sasha
She has been training with IMDT and working for Sussex County Dog Training since 2020.
Sasha’s passion is puppies, and obedience and is available for 1:2:1s for working on obedience and puppy issues.
Emma
Emma has trained with IMDT and teaches puppy classes at Sussex County Dog Training.
She competes in agility and Scentwork with her dog and attends obedience 121s/classes here at SCDT.
Anna
Anna is a qualified Scentwork UK instructor with a wealth of knowledge in scentwork, puppy training and general obedience.
She has trained thousands of dogs very successfully over the years and her kind approach means she has many devoted customers who return regularly for ongoing training.
Josie
Josie has been with us for over 7 years and loves teaching exercises to puppies and adolescent dogs.
She specialises in trick training and agility and loves seeing dogs learn new things!

FAQ
Where are the classes held?
At our purpose-built centre in Aldingbourne, nr Chichester.
Often, when puppies or dogs are training on wooden, slippery surfaces it can be uncomfortable and distracting for them.
Our centre has non-slip flooring and underfloor heating, giving your puppy the chance to feel safe, build confidence and focus during training, thus giving them the positive, fun experience we aspire to achieve.
We have a shop on site that has all the food, treats, chews and toys you need for your puppy. If you'd like to speak to someone about nutrition, Natural Choice Pet Foods is the place to head either before or after your lesson for all the advice you'd need.

Can my puppy attend after only having 1 vaccination?
We disinfect our centre regularly which massively reduces the chances of your puppy contracting any contagious diseases. The earlier they're socialised and starting their training, the better so if they've only had their first vaccination, we advise you pick them up from the car into the training hall, then you can pop them down & they can train in your designated area, on the floor.
What age can my puppy be to attend?
From their first vaccination - 24 weeks old. When they reach 24 weeks, they will be more suited to the 6-Week Beginners Obedience Class - Click here to find out more.
How do I find my online login details when I purchase the 6 - week Puppy Course?
You'll be sent emails containing all the information you need to access our online school. Please make sure you have added online@sussexcountydogtraining.com to your safe list on your emails so you don't miss out on important emails.
What training can I do after puppy training?
Most dogs will need to be 8 / 12 months old to attend any sport-related classes so Beginners Obedience Or Scent Work is a great next step on your training journey.
