Dog Behaviour with Miranda Batterbee
From £42 for 25 minutes
​Miranda is a KCAI and APDT accredited instructor. She works closely with the RSPCA on some of their rescue cases and mainly specialises in Dog behaviour.

Miranda is also one of our obedience trainers and teaches regular classes throughout the week at our Aldingbourne branch.

Behaviour / Obedience With Sarah Groom
From £32 for 25 minutes
Sarah Groom has been a part of Sussex County Dog Training since 2016. With a background in Human Psychology, she focused her career towards canines upon owning her own dog with behavioural problems. Sarah is passionate about all aspects of training and behaviour, with a particular focus on dog reactivity towards dogs and other humans. This is an area she has knowledge in, from personal experience and extensive study; including but not limited to becoming CBATI-KA certified with the Grisha Steward Academy.
Alongside 121s for reactivity, she is also experienced in training obedience, cooperative care/handling issues, separation issues, resource guarding and runs our reactive rovers classes at the centre.
Sarah is also an advocate for canine wellness, with particular emphasis on nutrition and how that can influence behaviour. She offers nutritional advice at the centre, to help dogs thrive from all angles, inside and out.
Obedience with Anna Coyne
£32 for 25 minutes
Anna has been working at Sussex County Dog Training for over a decade. She is a qualified Scentwork UK instructor with a wealth of knowledge in scentwork, puppy training and general obedience.
Anna has owned a varied selection of breeds including a lab, German shepherd, Inuit and a border collie.
She has trained thousands of dogs very successfully over the years and her kind approach means she has many devoted customers who return regularly for ongoing training.
Obedience With Abi Toone
£32 for 25 minutes
Abi has been working with Sussex County Dog Training since 2018. She is now a qualified IMDT Dog Trainer & is one of our Scentwork trainers here.
Abi is passionate about the sport as she believes it is great to give the dogs an outlet to use their primary sense.
Abi is able to do Scent 121’s during the week as well as Beginner- Advance classes on a Wednesday evening.
Obedience with Josie Sasse
£32 for 25 minutes
Josie is one of our senior instructors at Sussex County Dog Training, bringing a wealth of experience and passion to the world of dog training for over a decade. Josie is committed to helping dog owners forge strong, positive connections with their dogs.
Committed to assisting owners in achieving their training goals, Josie offers personalised guidance, tailoring her approach to meet individual needs. She believes that dog ownership and training should be a source of joy and satisfaction, and her teaching style reflects this philosophy in creating enjoyable and effective learning experiences.
Outside of Sussex County Dog Training, Josie shares her home with her family and four dogs and actively competes in Dog Agility.
