Is this the next class, if I have completed puppy classes?
Yes. This is the following course if you have already attended the puppy class. Start with beginners to achieve your Real Life Levels. Once this is complete, you will move on to Improvers, where you will achieve your Out and About and Fun and Games Levels.
I have an older Dog Is this the right class for me?
If you’ve been training your dog at home and have some of the basics such as Sit and your dog knows their name, then beginners is the perfect class to join at any age.
If you and your dog haven’t trained in Obedience. then you may wish to do some one-to-ones with a trainer first before moving onto this course.
I have already been doing Obedience Training with my dog and would like to progress further, which class should I choose?
You should choose our Improvers classes. These classes are designed to take you to the highest level of obedience. They’re called Improvers Classes because everybody still has room to improve no matter how far along you and your Dog are in your training journey.
I would like to take the Kennel Club Good Citizens Awards, is this something I can do?
Yes, all our training is designed to create the perfect Dog and the criteria you need to achieve at each level relates directly to the Bronze, Silver and Gold Kennel Club Awards. We run tests a minimum of three times a year.
I need to socialise my dog however, they don’t always have great manners with other dogs/people and sometimes barks and lunges. Is this the class for me?
No, but we have amazing classes for socialising dogs who are ‘not always perfect’ with other dogs and people. Check out our Reactive Rover Obedience Classes here. Please note, you will need to do at least one 121 before you can join.
